I graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. I returned to Waterloo, the city my family had lived in since the late 70s.

Anna has been working for PPC since 2019 and is currently working towards getting her veterinary technician degree online, through Penn Foster. Anna has grown up surrounded by family members working in the veterinary field, creating a strong passion for animals.

Allie is from Waterloo, IA, and graduated from Hawkeye Community College as a Veterinary Assistant. She enjoys working at Pawsitive Pet Care, learning new things. Allie enjoys seeing all the different exotic animals that come through the door.

Katelynn is from Waterloo, Iowa, and graduated from Hawkeye Community College with a Vet Assistant degree in 2021. She started at PPC during her internship and has been with the clinic since then.

Neka is a Waterloo, IA native, who graduated from Hawkeye Community College as a Veterinary Assistant in 2016 and has been with the clinic since then. She enjoys interacting with all the patients who walk through the door -- especially snakes.

Josh is currently a sophomore at Don Bosco High School in Gilbertville, Iowa. His favorite hobbies are golfing, fishing, playing Xbox, and watching football, "Go Pack Go!" He enjoys working at Pawsitive Pet Care because they are all a family, and he enjoys being around animals!

Jackson graduated from Waterloo West High School in May of 2019. His favorite hobbies include playing video games, hanging out with friends/family, and working with all types of computers.

Heather is our senior Quality Control Kitty. Her tasks include asking for food after she was just fed, always needing to be on the other side of a closed door, critiquing everyone by meowing loudly, and occasionally being a blank canvas for doodling.

Cricket is one of our Junior Quality Control Kitties. You will likely find her up front in the lobby greeting our clients and patients of all breeds and sizes. She also loves to spend her spare time snoozing on the reception desk.
