Pet Wellness Care
We recommend that each pet receives a wellness exam twice yearly. In dog years that is one exam every 3 1/2 years! Each individual’s wellness exam includes a physical exam along with immunizations, nutritional counseling, and preventative blood profiles as well if needed. For those who would like, we also offer vaccination titers as an alternative to annual vaccinations. Vaccine recommendations are based on each individual and the risk of exposure.
Pet Laser Surgery
Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. They replace the scalpel in surgical procedures by using a highly focused beam of light to cut, this results in less pain, less bleeding and less swelling as well as reduced risk of infection while decreasing post-operative discomfort. Another great benefit to laser surgery is most routine surgical procedures can be completed as an out-patient. No more night stays at the hospital for spays and neuters!
Dog and Cat Surgery
We offer a variety of surgical services ranging from routine procedures such as spays and neuters to more involved Laparoscopic surgery, abdominal, gastrointestinal and orthopedic surgeries. Our pre-operative safety screening includes a pre-operative exam and pre-surgical blood testing. We also incorporate intravenous fluid administration. Licensed veterinary technicians monitor each individual patient from beginning of the procedure until they awaken. During surgery the surgical team monitors the patients’ health with EKG, heart rate/pulse rate, blood pressure, temperature, and blood oxygen saturation and carbon dioxide levels.

Animal Dental Care
Regular professional pet dental cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's health. Complete dental cleaning requires anesthesia with the same safety precautions taken as with general surgery. We use modern and safe ultrasonic tools to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.
